About Me

Hi, I'm Bianca.

I am a researcher and designer interested in how complex systems hold together.

My work sits at the intersection of UX research, human behavior, cognition, and product development. Whether I'm studying how people use a product, designing an interface, running usability tests, or building a research tool, I am interested in understanding how different parts of a system interact to create meaningful outcomes.

I began my career in Integrated Design, where I learned to approach problems through observation, evidence, and iteration. Over time, that foundation expanded into graphic design, UX research, software development, caregiving, and independent research.

Working closely with children with special needs strengthened my ability to identify patterns, adapt to changing conditions, and design around real human needs rather than assumptions.

It reinforced a lesson that continues to guide my work today:

Most complex problems cannot be understood through a single lens.

As a result, I approach every challenge as a research question first. I gather evidence, build something testable, observe how it performs, and iterate — whether the outcome is a digital product, a physical object, or a research framework.

This approach eventually led me to design and build Root Extension, an iOS research instrument developed to investigate how physiological regulation, interoception, narrative organization, and subjective experience interact over time.

While the domains vary, the motivation remains consistent:
